The Raj Green Sawn Edge Paving Indian sandstone has been requested by many of our trade landscaping customers, where their customers wanted a more contemporary finish but still retaining the traditional character of a natural stone patio.  The surface finish of the stone is naturally riven however the edges have been sawn to give a square straight edge.  This square edge allows the paving to be laid with a minimum gap in the jointing.   There are many shades throughout with mixes of greens and gentle browns, and the occasional purplish tones run through the blend. 

As we import this stone our selves we have the facilities to split down packs and sell it by the m2 making it much easier to buy what you need.

Sandstone

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is most often composed of quartz sand, although sometimes they can be formed of feldspar. Sandstone is one of the most popular stones for garden paving, this is due to its strength, durability and also the different types of finishes and natural colours that it has meaning that it can be adapted to suit any type or style of garden. 


You can get Sandstone paving with a variety of different surface finishes. One of the finishes you can get with sandstone is a riven finish, this finish gives the stone more of a textured, rustic look. This type of finish is the first finish you get from the natural stone once the stone is sheered apart. This process occurs when the stone is originally cut from the block and sheered apart and thus giving a riven finish along the vein of the rock.
