IMPORTANT: This product is a permanent staining solution that will darken the surface of the stone and the grout joints making it very difficult to remove once applied. Test on an inconspicuous area before general application and do not walk on treated surfaces until the solution has completely dried.

Shake bottle well before use.

Apply small amount to the desired surface and evenly spread out the solution using a cloth or sealant applicator.

Textured surfaces (riven)

  1. Apply Blackstone with paintbrush or roller
  2. Allow to dry/absorb
  3. If desired depth of colour not achieved repeat first two steps (max 3 coats)
  4. Leave to dry naturally.

Honed and smooth surfaces (polished)

Following the above steps, once dry it may be required to remove excess sealer with a soft cloth. Do not walk on the surface for at least 4 hours. Before allowing traffic gently test the surface by rubbing a white paper towel, this will test if colourfast.
